Applications are open in the Federal Government Scholarship Awards Tenable in Nigerian Tertiary institutions every year. The Honourable Minister of Education invites applicants who are competent Nigerian students at Nigerian public universities to take part in the selection interview. All undergraduate and postgraduate programs that Nigerian higher institutions of higher learning offer are eligible

Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Awarding Scholarships for Masters, Undergraduate, and Ph.D. – Overseas
Every year each year, the Federal Scholarship Board by the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria offers Bilateral Educational Agreement (BEA) Award for Scholarships to Undergraduate Master’s and Ph.D. students who wish to pursue their studies at universities in Russia, China, Cuba, Morocco, Algeria, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, Serbia, Mexico, Macedonia, e.t.c.

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is a parastatal within the Ministry of Petroleum Resources that invites applicants who are qualified to award Masters (MSc) as well as Ph.D. and also Undergraduate Scholarships under the PTDF Scholarship Scheme.
The PTDF Scholarship is given to students in France, the United Kingdom, France, and upgraded universities in Nigeria. However, the undergraduate level is awarded to studies in Nigeria only.

State Government Scholarships
Lagos State Scholarship Award Local and International
Lagos State Government offers scholarships to students. Lagos State Government offers both Local and foreign scholarships to natives and residents of the state.
Local Scholarships: This is for future students of Lagos State origin except otherwise instructed by His Excellency. Students should be in full-time, not part-time, studies at Nigerian higher education institutions.
International Scholarships: The award was intended to help students of Lagos State origin admitted for postgraduate or undergraduate programs at accredited tertiary institutions outside Nigeria.
